Summary of the role
Drive the Corporate IT sales strategy in the Benelux market. Build close working relationships with Corporate accounts to develop business, identify IT opportunities and drivers across these accounts

Main responsibilities

SALES STRATEGY - Definition & Execution:

· Understand customer business drivers, strategy, challenges & decision processes within the Corporate market & propose a suitable sales strategy
· Initiate, follow-up and lead all stages of the sales cycle in order to meet or exceed the established sales targets
· Liaise with Central Corporate IT unit at all important phases of the sales cycle in order to ensure alignment with key stakeholders, particularly for multinational accounts.

ACQUISITION, RETENTION & DEVELOPMENT

· Build, develop and maintain structured relationships within the Corporate IT market to understand their business drivers and translate into strategic IT needs.
· Identify new sales & upsell opportunities and propose Amadeus &/or 3rd party solutions to improve customer profitability and efficiency

MANAGEMENT OF 3rd PARTY VENDORS & PARTNERS

· Proactively identify & manage partnerships with 3rd party corporate IT solutions providers, vendors and consulting partners
· Ensure appropriate gap analysis & technology roadmaps are prepared & validated with all key stakeholders to include 3rd party solutions within the Amadeus offerings

BUDGETING, REPORTING & PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

· Actively contribute & collaborate in the budgeting & commercial planning processes.
· Track & monitor sales KPI’s & implement relevant internal processes to create efficiencies

TEAM MANAGEMENT

· Lead the team through “Management by Objectives”: ensure good coaching, training and motivation of the team to increase efficiency & quality of performance.

Requirements

· Skills and knowledge:
· Years of experience: 3- 5 years’ commercial or travel management experience in a multinational corporate environment
· Education: University degree Commercial Sciences / Business, IT or Travel Industry;
· Other Requirements
· Travel technology experience would be an advantage
· 1-2 years experience in managing a sales team. Experience in a matrix organization would be an advantage
· Own an active & widespread network within the Benelux Corporate market
· Result-driven, multi-cultural, flexible & pro-active personality
· Local languages and excellent level of written and oral English
