Team Description

Amadeus is the world leader of IT services and distribution in the travel industry.

Our customers are major airlines, airports, travel agencies, hotels but also popular travel search engines like Kayak.

Our success relies on our ability to innovate and be on the leading edge, but also to deliver a high-class quality of service.

The team is responsible of a solution (nicknamed ‘Ambrosia’) that monitors the functional health of customer-facing systems and optimizes the management of the issues (detection, immediate counter-measure, investigation, follow-up and reporting).

Main Responsibilities

The investigation/root cause analysis is obviously the most complex part of the issue management. To have a graphical timeline of errors integrating events like software loads, change of configuration… would definitely accelerate the analysis.
To this purpose, the goal of the internship is to extend Ambrosia so that it can integrate data from other data sources in a unified and customizable view.

·The candidate will have to:

· Study what kind of data would be relevant to display in Ambrosia and how we could retrieve them.

· Propose a way to overlay those data in Ambrosia and configure the view

· Develop the new components in the Ambrosia GUI according to specification

· Develop any other middleware application running in the background to collect data if required.

Requirements

The technologies used will be as follow:

· AngularJS or Angular.io for the GUI

· Python/Django for the backend and scripting

· MongoDB for the database
