Team description

Amadeus is a world leader in providing IT solutions for the whole travel industry. It provides a comprehensive set of products for managing airline business from reservation to operational systems managing passengers and aircrafts at the airport.

You will be integrated in the team that is in charge of the involuntary change of tickets in case of flight delays/cancelation due to disruption event (such as strikes, earthquakes, weather risks, flood…)

Main responsibilities

The goal is to help the team to build a system that will analyse weather forecast and foresee possible flight disruptions.

The focus will be on the weather forecast analysis.
The backend APIS in C/C++ will be either already existing, either mocked.

The internship will be based on an existing disruption management tool that allows airline to waive the penalties when reissuing tickets.

The internship mission will lead to plug a notification to the airline in case of possible flight disruption. The notification system will be integrated in the existing tool.
