Team description :

Amadeus offers a suite of Web products (eCommerce, B2C) to a large range of airline customers, worldwide. Delivering applications with high quality is a must. This includes performant application for both UI rendering and network download. This could turn out as a challenge with UI application embedding more and more Javascript code with sophisticated UI framework (Angular, etc.) and offering ever richer content downloaded on browser side.

As a result, we need to define and build a solution that could address questions such as:

· Performance should cover response time but also HTTP download, memory consumption, etc.
· How to instrument our code ?
· Can we detect performance deterioration from release to release ?
· How to generate report and alert (through dedicated user interface with meaningful dashboards)
· How to investigate performance issue in production environment ?
· Etc.

Main responsibilities:

The trainee will participate in following activities:

Studying (available tool on the market, etc.), prototyping, designing and implementing the solution are part of the activities that are expected in this internship.

Interaction with other team members would also be needed in order to make the tool available on different Web products and to make sure it is properly integrated in the development cycle with minimum impacts on standard coding cycle (automation is a key objective of this internship).
