Join us and shape the future of travel

Shaping the future of travel has always been important to us at Amadeus. Today, with technology getting smarter by the minute, that future is more exciting than ever.

We work at the heart of the global travel industry. Amadeus offers you the opportunity to learn and grow and drive your own progression in an exciting and multicultural environment.

Our people are driven by a passion for 'Where next?' If you want to shape your career and the future of travel, Amadeus is the place for you.

Team and context description:

Why settle for a dull internship this year when exciting opportunities could be yours for the taking?

Amadeus is changing the travel industry through digital experiences offered to a wide range of customers: travel agencies, airlines, airports, hotels, cars, etc.

Our team is responsible for the automated testing of our web applications, from the implementation of the automated tests up to its execution on a cutting edge infrastructure.

The team is small and practices agile development, so you'll be an important contributor when achieving your mission.

Main Responsibilities

Continuous integration is a daily challenge for every one of us. Our engineers have to make sure that their change will not impact our customers. This is regression testing.

Massive regression testing becomes a viable solution when all parameters of the application are controlled.

Today, the management of sites and platform parameters is done manually.

Your mission is to help the team to develop an innovative tool, a bot which automatically maintain these sites and platform configurations for multiple environments.

You’ll be in charge of the technical and functional specifications, along with the development of a prototype and its release to the users.

The technical scope of this mission is very wide with technologies such as Jenkins, Maven, UML, Java/Groovy, JavaScript, Angular JS and SQL!

Are you ready to take this challenge?

What you’ll learn

You'll have a chance to interact with nearly every team at Front-Office division - developers, functional analysts, designers, ergonomists, etc. The main things you'll learn are:

• How to write technical and functional specifications

• How to develop a prototype
• How to release this prototype for actual usage, and integrate the feedback from the users

• How to research/stalk potential sponsors

Requirements

The Site Control bot position is open to curious students interested in travel & innovation.

We are looking for a talented developer with UML, Java/Groovy, JavaScript, Angular JS and SQL database skills.
