Team Description

The team is developing Revenue Management solutions to Airlines. Revenue Management was introduced in the airline industry in the 60’s after the market was de-regularized. This is a field in constant evolution using state of the art scientific solutions coming from intense worldwide research work as well as the latest IT techniques to make possible the most complex algorithms.

Our current Revenue Management System solution implements a complex Oracle, C++ and in-house transactional framework stack as well as some Hadoop/Impale components. The overall monitoring both technical as well as functional and complex is level of automation can be improved.

Main Responsibilities

The intern will integrate our production support team and will observe daily activity of the team. Based on this observation period, the intern will help the team to propose a set of tools and implement prototypes to give to the team a set of dashboards providing comprehensive and synthetic health monitoring KPI. Additional tooling to automatically monitor the components of the application to efficiently drill down to the faulty module in case of incident is also in scope.

Requirements

The candidate should be comfortable with scripting language, in particular python.

The candidate should be comfortable with HTML/JavaScript technology.

The candidate should have good communication skills.

The candidate should have a good level in English.
