Team Description

Amadeus Benchmarking Engine (ABE) team is made of 5 engineers working in the airline revenue management (RM) area. The RM boosts the revenue of the airlines, and the ABE mission is to analyze the next trends and propose innovative solutions to implement those trends. RM is a field inconstant evolution using state of the art scientific solutions coming from intense worldwide research work as well as the latest IT techniques to make possible the most complex algorithms.

And what's new? The coming trend is to optimize the ancillary revenue (lounge access, extra-leg roomseat, wifi, inflight entertainment...) An airline Revenue Management System usually optimizes prices of flight tickets but does not include any optimization step for Ancillary services. As the ancillary services sales starts to represent a significant part of airline revenues we need to optimize them.

Main Responsibilities

The intern will help the team to evaluate and prototype approaches to optimize revenue of Ancillary services. Knowledge on Machine learning technics (such as Random Forest
