Team Description:

Our team is part of the Search, Shopping & Pricing division (R&D-SSP) responsible for delivering the next-generation technologies that enable travelers worldwide to search for destinations online.

The Quality Assurance (QA) team is a growing entity within SSP, with an ever stronger focus put on performance and customer satisfaction, thereby confirming our position of global leading travel IT provider.

Main Responsibilities:

The QA team is accountable for the quality of software delivered by the development teams. Quality is not only about testing, it is defining a test strategy, finding new approaches for a better quality, ensuring testability of products, provide clear visibility of the software quality along the development cycle flow. To achieve this, various tools are used to automate processes, analyze results, raise alerts in case of issues, provide reports, etc…

These tools are in constant improvement, in order to match the requirements for new products, new clients, new quality indicators, better coverage.

The trainee will participate in the improvement of quality processes & tools, to provide the best quality, focusing on the quality of web-based applications developed in SSP.

This is an opportunity to practice a broad range of activities (from software design and programming to functional understanding of Amadeus products and collaboration with several teams), and to face the criticality of the quality in a production context.

This internship will help you understand what runs behind the scene when you search and price your personal trips, on an online travel agency or airline website, or in a traditional travel agency office.
