As an IT provider for airlines, Amadeus offers IT application with a very high level of functional complexity and subject to demanding Service Level Agreements – such as the Inventory one.

The architectures of these applications is constantly evolving to match these requirements and allow business and functional growth.

Within the Airline IT division, Altea Inventory is a brand new inventory management solution used by over 60 airlines of all sizes in all markets. Dedicated to airlines flights handling, it uses the most advanced techniques in Availability, Schedule and Re-accommodation management in case of disruption.

Main responsibilities

Production support is an important activity inside the Inventory division. It integrates various ITIL aspects. Key triggers driving the success of this support activity are monitoring, alerting, notification…

As our applications and systems become more and more complex (including the transition to the Cloud technologies), the various monitoring, alerting, notification systems need to be aggregated per given interest area. For example, some part of the system may have a specific concern regarding the number of connections to a database, other may have a specific Service Level Agreements for a given transaction response time…

The goal of this internship is to help the team to collect the requirements for an efficient Production Support dashboard, to categorize them, to propose some aggregation models, plus deliver a prototype for the specific Inventory area. The prototype should basically group on one single page visual indicators given a quick overview on the system health. Aggregating and tailoring existing indicators, and propose new ones.

Required skills

- Fluent in English

- Technical skillsis a plus: Django, Angular, HTML5/CSS3, python, SQL

- Knowledge of Unix is a plus
