Amadeus is changing the travel industry through digital experiences offered to a wide range of customers: travel agencies, airlines, airports, hotels, cars, etc.

Our team is responsible for the automated testing of our web applications, from the implementation of the automated tests up to its execution on a cutting edge infrastructure.

The team is small and practices agile development, so you'll be an important contributor when achieving your mission.

Main Responsibilities

Key missions

Continuous integration is a daily challenge for every one of us. Today our engineers have to produce more and more tests on our web applications.

Discriminating which tests are relevant, stable and viable for the long run is a difficult and manual task.

Promoting these tests to a new stage where they could be used in our continuous integration environment is a challenge.

This is where YOU come in!

Your mission is to help our team in analysing on which criteria the tests should be evaluated, set these criteria and develop an innovative tool, a bot which automatically promote these tests.

You’ll be in charge of the technical and functional specifications, along with the development of a prototype and its release to the users.

The technical scope of this mission is very wide with technologies such as UML, Spring, Java/Groovy, JavaScript, Angular JS and SQL!

What you’ll learn

You'll have a chance to interact with nearly every team at Front-Office division - developers, functional analysts, designers, ergonomists, etc. The main things you'll learn are:

• How to write technical and functional specifications

• How to develop a prototype
• How to release this prototype for actual usage, and integrate the feedback from the users

• How to research/stalk potential sponsors

Requirements

The Power Up bot position is open to curious students interested in travel & innovation.

We are looking for a talented developer with UML, Spring, Java/Groovy, JavaScript, Angular JS and SQL database skills.
