Team Description:

The internship will take place in the System & Application Security department of Amadeus.

The main activity of the department is to develop an authentication, access control and security administration solution deployed within all the Amadeus products.

The intern will be part of the Fraud detection Group. This group has started recently to research and develop a new framework for detecting functional misuse and anomalies in Amadeus Applications that can be linked to a fraudulent behaviors, or at best, to malicious attempts to abuse the system by exploiting some unexpected combinations of valid actions.

Subject:

Fraud detection framework is based on big data technologies mainly Spark, Elastic Search and Kibana.

Kibana is an analytics and visualization platform that builds on Elasticsearch to give us a better understanding of our data.

Since Amadeus applications and client needs are so different, Kibana dashboards should be specific to each of them. Thus a Kibana customization is mandatory to be able to build dashboards that can satisfy our clients’ requirements.

The goal of the internship is tohelpmn the team tobuild new plugins to extend Kibana visualization and offer new functionalities.

The trainee will participate in the following activities:

- Explore and test existing Kibana plugins.

- Develop new plugins to extend Kibana visualization and offer new functionalities:

· Visualization based on mathematical modelisation for example display GMMs based on [w, mu and sig]
· End-User interaction with Kibana dashboard
· Custom export
· Custom look and feel

Required skills:

Web Development. JavaScript development, AngularJS

Some knowledge about Elastic Search, Kibana is a plus.

Creativity, Open minded, Analytical skills.
