Team Description

Amadeus develops some of the largest travel solutions worldwide. We provide solutions to Travel Agencies, Airlines, Hotels, Airports, Travellers... The business complexity of the Travel Industry and the competitive landscape create interesting challenges to deliver products with the highest quality standards, while maintaining a steady delivery pipeline with low time to market and high reactivity to market requirements.

The team’s mission is to design and develop the quality platform cross Amadeus teams to optimize and standardize the product qualification phases.

We are working to deliver a future environment with recent technologies and organization (Agile methodology).

Main Responsibilities

The quality environnment is made of severals tools coming from industry or developped inside the team. It is a suite of quality applications that communicate each other with for some of them strong dependencies.

Today we are using HP ALM application (Application Life management) to drive the Amadeus product qualification. This product is a standard in the development industry. It is fully configurable to cover any type of environnment.

ALM is the key link of the internal quality chain. Around 2 millions of tests per months are conducted from it: its configuration is very sensitive and it aggregates a lot of data.

The purpose of this internship is to put in place an ”analytics” platform to extract pertinent information from the ALM data base. The objectives is to find potential incompatibilities with dependents tools and to provide visibility on what is done and how by the ALM user.

The trainee will participate to:

· Specify the relevant data that can be extracted from ALM.
· Evaluate the best solution to store and share data.
· Design a technical solution, prototype it and implement it.

Requirements

Software developer, Good knowledge in SQL,

Good English level

Sensibility to software validation, Knowledge of ALM would be a plus.
