Team description

Our team is SPC (Sandbox, Performance, and Configuration),a transversal R&D group designing solutions to streamline the deployment of the complex and highly-distributed Amadeus IT products on test platforms, as well as developer tools for the performance testing of said products. We interact with several operational and R&D teams for the development and management of tools related to internal test systems. A new test system called Quality Control Platform (QCP) is entering within the realm of responsibility of our division. As a result, we need to provide a way to control and monitor the complete status of this platform.

Main responsibilities

The objective of this internship would be to implement a dashboard that would allow to not only check the real-time status of the QCP platform, but also to visualize trends and calculate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This means that the scope of the internship is:

· Collaborate in gathering requirements and defining user stories
· Explore existing open-source and commercial solutions
· Design a visual easy-to-use interface that responds to user’s needs
· Allow embedding of graphs and visualizations from third party tools, such as Kibana or Grafana
· Interface with internal Amadeus applications in order to retrieve its current status relative to QCP
· Establish network connections according to Amadeus security standards.
· Setup of continuous integration and continuous deployment processes for any tools developed during the internship

The Intern will be able to discuss and benefit of the aid of an experienced mentor.

New development for this project may qualify for open source publishing as per the Amadeus Open Source Initiative.
