Summary of the role

The Implementation Project Manager is responsible for developing and executing activities related to end-to-end program/project management, including project plans and estimates, scoping and requirements through implementation and deployment. They proactively monitor, manage and report on execution of deliverables through all program/project phases while interacting with the customer and setting reasonable expectations.

Main responsibilities

Lead and manage internal multi-disciplinary project teams and coordinate with customer resources for the execution of projects
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Report and escalate to management as needed
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 7 years Project Management experience working directly with external customers
• Minimum of 3 years of MS Suite experience including MS Project
• Proven ability to manage a matrix team to meet/exceed project expectations and deliverables

Preferred Skills

•Airline or travel industry
•Up to 20% travel
•PMP Certification preferred
