Business environment

The SGB (Strategic Growth Businesses) mission is to build and deliver best-in-class solutions for the new diversification businesses of Amadeus: Hotel, Airport IT, Rail and Payment. The success story has started already with the signature of very large IT deals like IHG for Hotels, BeNe for Rail, and acquisitions of companies like UFIS for Airport IT, and NewMarket for Hotel.

What’s make SGB unique is this diversity, a global view and ownership of our solutions, and a huge growth perspective. This diversity also brings some exciting challenges in terms of practices & knowledge sharing, homogeneity of tools and processes, or consistency of reporting. The SGB-TSS division (Transversal Services and Support) is in charge of providing professional and consistent services (usability, project and process office, tools, process, Agile, support) across all SGB divisions.

Purpose

The mission of the SGB-TSS-EXA-EPS-ACC (Agile Competency Center) group is to deploy the Agile methodologies and mind-set in all SGB Customer Units, at team level (Scrum and Kanban) and entity level (scaled agile frameworks).

He/she drives the transition to the agile frameworks through teaching, coaching and mentoring. Ensure adoption, implementation and maintenance of Agile principles across the organization and contribute to evolve them company-widely according to the needs

Key accountabilities

Individual and team mentoring & knowledge sharing

· Coach teams facing challenges
· Coach individuals when needed, with a specific attention for Scrum Masters & Product Owners
· Partner with the PO to ensure vision, roadmap & personas are well defined and understood.
· Mentor SM on becoming better facilitator & on focusing teams on completing tasks.
· Facilitate Learning through ad-hoc workshops, training sessions, innovative technics to maximize output.
· Lead teams through first sprint planning, sprint execution & sprint review cycle(s) and guide, assist and mentor them to become self-sufficient in coordination with the Agile Facilitator if any.
· Encourage & Promote good engineering and quality practices.

Agile deployment and adoption facilitation

· Assess Agile teams level & make recommendations for improvement.
· Assess, analyze, track & report the progress of the teams at organizational level.
· Identify areas for improvement and propose means to overcome them.
· Define/Enhance tools & processes to aid agile teams.
· Develop a change management strategy.
· Develop & deliver recommendations to Top Management & Client Stakeholders on Agile practices and directions.

Education

University degree, or equivalent work experience
