Objective:

Provides technical expertise on bogie suspensions
Ensures quality, cost and time (QCD) requirements from the input data until the end of validation, the definition of the suspension devices on projects, R & D or specific expertise analysis.

Responsibilities

·  Responsible for R & D studies and product improvements and development of the associated dimensioning tools
·  Ensures, with the technical and project managers, the technical relevance of the product, from definition to industrialization and behavior in commercial service
·  Defines the optimal technical solutions and related characteristics (springs, rubber elements, air suspension, shock absorbers), with pre-calculations and / or with dynamic rail simulation results, in order to guarantee safety and comfort train
·  Calculate the anti-roll bar and springs
·  Ensures compliance with the contractual technical requirements of the product including: technical performance, elements of FMDS, eco design
·  Ensures follow-up of suppliers
·  Responsible for producing, updating and approving of technical documents : definitions and justification(specification, clauses by clauses , standard tests , requested documentation ).

Profile

Mechanical Engineer

Dimensioning of the suspensions (springs, air suspension, Anti Roll Bar, dampers ...)
Experience in rubber behaviour would be an asset.
