JOB TITLE: Lead Buyer Indirect Sourcing (HR/FM), Based at Saint Ouen (93, FRANCE)

JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY :

The Lead Buyer, reporting to the Commodity Manager, will have the following responsibilities

·         Strong involvement and implementation of Indirect Sourcing commodity strategies on HR Services  (Temporary Labour, Recruitment, Training, Coaching, Translation, Compensation&Benefits …) and Facility Management (FM, Real Estate, Utilities … )

·         Manage some global supplier panel relationship ( FA, Partnership,..)

·         Manage operational needs for HQ

·         Responsible for commodity QCDT and legal supplier performance management

·         Operational sourcing responsibility on negotiation, cross sites/businesses bundling

·         Animate Saving Plan by leveraging Design to Cost, LCC, Volumes...

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES OF THE ROLE:

Supplier relationship:

·         Manage some global supplier relationship (FA, Partnership program, ...) 

·         Ensure global QCDT targets achievement & claims management for the global suppliers in charge

·         Lead supplier QCDT performance reviews

·         Respect Alstom Transport code of ethics and guidelines.

Commodity support:

·         Commodity representative

·         Consolidation of commodity needs, inputs

·         Strong input to build differentiation for AT through supplier innovation

·         Active participation to commodity strategy and panel elaboration

·         According to delegation, define a strategy for specific segment

·         Build Sourcing Tender commitment

·         In charge of Buyer activity on specific segment

·         Effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving

·         Apply the Alstom Transport Sourcing process, and provide return on experience

·         Demand Management

Operational involvement:

·         In charge of Buyer activity on specific segment

·         Effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving

·         Operational sourcing responsibility on negotiation, cross sites/PLs bundling

·         Lead Saving Plan by leveraging Design to Cost, LCC, Volumes...

Qualifications  

PROFILE:  To be considered for this role, candidate need to be able to demonstrate the following skills experience and attributes:    

·         Educational Degree

Business School or Engineering school and MASTER in Purchasing

·         Technical Competencies required for the role

Minimum of three years working experience in purchasing and industry field

Technical and strong market knowledge of the commodity

·         Behavioral Competencies

Fluent english & International background

Strong interpersonal skills (leadership, communication, ability to convince)

Based in Headquarter / High travel frequency
