Goals :

·  Is in charge of the mechanical transmission system definition (link between the electrical motor and the track) from specification to validation, according to QCD (Quality, Cost, Time) requirements ; and with the support of technicians and experts of the power mechanical transmission team or other design office departments (FEA, RAMS, …) he will coordinate.
·  Is also in charge of projects under warranty (revenue service)

Missions :

·  Ensure, with the Project Engineering Manager, the suitability of the technical definition, from the design to industrialization, and during revenue service
·  Ensure the compliance of the product regarding technical contractual requirements : performances, RAMS, eco-design
·  Ensure the availability of inputs data and all informations which can affect design study (design, supplier component lead-time, production lead-time)
·  Take part to the design reviews and validation reviews (internal/external)
·  Ensure the delivery and update of the technical documentation for design definition and compliance justification
·  In charge of the creation and follow-up of the technical validation plan for the transmission system and its components (serial test, type test, type part, test in line)
·  In charge of product cost optimization

Profile:

Educational Requirements :

·  Mechanical engineer

Experience :

·  Experience in design of mechanical transmission system for industry
·  Experience in project management
·  Experience in railway industry is an advantage

Technical  Skills / Competencies  :

·  Knowledge in design and calculation for gears, bearings, oil lubrication circuit
·  Good capacity of synthesis

Behavioral skills :

·  Leadership

·  Good communication

·  Written and spoken English required
