In the context where CASCO is technically responsible of all URBALIS Project deployment in China, technical assistance is provided in order to secure DCS sub-system delivery on time with the dedicated level of quality and performance on all projects to be delivered.
The DCS Telecom Engineer assists the ALSTOM DCS Experts in coordinating DCS activities in CASCO for all URBALIS projects in China in interface with ALSTOM team. In particular he brings a great attention on the deployment process application from Design phase up to Revenue Service
The DCS Telecom Engineer inspects DCS installation and DCS T&C activities on site. The DCS Telecom Engineer leads any necessary troubleshooting in case of any technical issue discovered on site.
OBJECTIVES OF THE MISSION :
- To assist CASCO DCS SSM, DCS Design, DCS Data Preparation, DCS I&V, DCS Installation and DCS T&C teams involved of URBALIS projects in China, in applying DCS deployment process coming from ALSTOM
- To review DCS test procedures and DCS test reports
- To inspect DCS installation and DCS T&C activities on site and draw recommendations for improvement
- To lead CASCO DCS teams for trouble shooting
- To assist ALSTOM DCS Expert in coordinating and monitoring CASCO internal DCS activities of China URBALIS projects
RESPONSIBILITES :
To assist CASCO DCS SSM, DCS Design, DCS Data Preparation, DCS I&V, DCS Installation and DCS T&C teams involved of URBALIS projects in China, in applying DCS deployment process coming from ALSTOM
- To review DCS test procedures and DCS test reports
- To inspect DCS installation and DCS T&C activities on site and draw recommendations
o To participate in spot checking on site of DCS equipment installed and provide the dedicated report
o To supervise DCS T&C activities
o To monitor DCS performances
- To lead CASCO DCS teams for trouble shooting
- To assist ALSTOM DCS Expert in coordinating CASCO internal DCS activities of China URBALIS projects
- To assist CASCO DCS SSM in managing and securing delivery of DCS teams
CANDIDATE PROFILE :
Engineering degree in Telecommunications and/or Radiofrequency
At least 2 years’ experience in Telecom and/or Radiofrequency
Successful work experience in a multi-cultural environment
2-3 years in international environment will be a plus
Positive personality, open-minded, humble
Rigorous and reliable
Promote Teamwork and communication
Capability to discuss at different level of detail and to highlight main points
Planning culture, committed to deliver on time
Proven experience working under pressure
Skills in Telecom (Cisco CCDA certification or equivalent will be a plus)
Skills in Radiofrequency (WIFI, LTE, …)
Management skills (communication, reporting, team working…)
English fluent
Chinese language abilities will be a plus
