Global Key Account Manager - Automotive M/F

JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

To increase the Account turnover and profitability of key Automotive clients in accordance with the Group Automotive Strategy. You will manage the business relationship with your assigned Automotive clients and the Business Units (BUs) of Allianz Global Assistance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.
Develop international Account and Contracts:

Maintain and develop key client relationships.

Coordinate the global and or regional commercial offers between Allianz Global Assistance’s BUs and your Automotive clients.

In collaboration with AGA BUs propose and manage pricing policy in order to maximise profit margins according to the Global accounts strategy.

Negotiate and conclude contracts with existing clients.

Optimize quality of Account Management, penetration of product/service offerings and client satisfaction.

Develop efficient processes to ensure continuous improvement in client performance and relationship.

Maintain a strong focus on the profitability and potential of existing business.

Contribute to the development of new Automotive products and services in response to identified opportunities.

Ensure alignment of Allianz Global Assistance’s offers to those of the market.

Develop knowledge of your clients’ strategic objectives & their corporate organisation.

Contribute to relevant reporting of management and financial information on Automotive turnover and sales.

2.
Contribute actively to knowledge management and sharing :

Contribute to formulation and implementation of initiatives and participate or manage special automotive projects as assigned.

Promote account management, sales, market and business knowledge by sharing information and best practices with the BUs to enable synergies.

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE


Degree level of education.

Excellent oral and written communication in English and in French.

Previous experience of 3+ years in Account management or Sales would be an advantage. Automotive related industry experience is preferred.

Self-motivated person who is comfortable working in a results based environment

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Good project management skills.

Team spirit and leadership skills.

Strong negotiation competencies and ability to develop solid partnerships.

Availability to travel regularly, particularly within Europe (short-missions).
