JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Finance audit experience required, helpful to have IT Audit experience
* 20% - 30% US Domestic and International travel will be required. Locations include Richmond, VA and Munich Germany and other locations.
* Identify and evaluate risks within business processes.
* Draft audit programs to effectively test the design and operational effectiveness of the system of internal controls.
* Perform routine to moderately complex audit activities, as assigned.
* Identify and communicate issues.
* Provide recommendations for improvement of the internal control environment.
* Collaborate with management on the development of action plans to ensure risks are mitigated appropriately.
* Perform issue follow-up and escalation as appropriate.
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Experience:
* 2-3 years experience required: Audit or Insurance Industry related experience.
* 4-5 years experience preferred: Working toward applicable certification (e.g. CPA, CIA, CISA)

Education
* Four year degree required or equivalent experience
