Poste et missions:

Integrated in the central supply chain team for Cosmetic Rigid Packaging Division (Make-Up packaging) - 12 plants worldwide
The Demand & Supply Planner interacts with Sales and local Operations teams to build a Sales and Operation plan (S&OP)
The objective is to develop:
- long term sales forecasts and improve them over time to drive industrial footprint
- Support factory operations to identify bottlenecks and define scenarios to satisfy the market demand
- Improve planning practices and tools

Main activities

-Gather and consolidate information and data to create and maintain forecast models and associated master data (product families, planning BOM …)
-Lead dialogue with sales, marketing, finance, NPD, site supply chain, operations and customer to propose a consensual forecast ; participate to collaborative forecast reviews with customers
-Manage the monthly forecast review in order to get a formal commitment from sales team
-Develop KPI and monitor forecast accuracy
-Support factories and suppliers for capacity and saturation analysis (master data; best practices and core model deployment)
-Propose S&OP forecast and supply management IT tool evolutions
-Drive specific improvement or deployment projects

Profil:

Experience and education

-Master Degree in Supply Chain or Engineering degree with supply chain major
- Ideally 3 years of experience in Supply Chain function: master scheduling, procurement & planning
- Strong knowledge of demand and supply planning process with make to order industry
- Proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts
- Expert in excel and database analysis
- APICS certification is a plus

Knowledge/Technical Skills required

- French & English fluent (3rd language is a plus)
- Knowledge of demand management/forecasting tools and forecasting processes
