Job description

·        Work on building flexible, reusable Test Automation solutions and tools to support speech integration with automotive infotainments.

·         Work closely with Product Management and Software Development teams to build test strategies and test plans/cases, validate code implementations, provide quality guidance and drive improvements in test automation coverage.

Participate in Test Drives and work with test houses and Other Daimler QA teams to gather feedbacks and document findings.

Must Have:

Strong hands-on experience in black box and white box testing.
Strong programming and scripting skills using Python, Java scripts and Shell scripting.
Experience working with REST service integrations.
Experience working and debugging on Embedded systems.
Familiarity in working with Web Applications.
Experience in SCM tools such as Git, Bitbucket etc.
Strong hands-on experience with Agile development practices and tools.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced and informal environment. Ability to respond and react to changing priorities quickly and efficiently.
Nice to Have:

Experience in working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins pipelines and plugins, Artifactory etc.
Should be able to understand and debug application code written in Java and Node.js.
Experience with voice based applications like Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa

 

·         Bachelors or Master degree in Computer Science or related fields.

·         3-5 Years of experience of modern software Quality Engineering practices, approaches and Test Automation technologies.

Previous experience in testing automotive infotainment applications or mobile web development is a plus.
