With the aim of strengthening our team, we are looking for a:

 

Engine Integration System Engineer - Automotive

 

The resource will be in charge to define the electronic requirements for the integration of the Engine in the vehicle, and collection/review of the documentation concerning the application and validation of the Engine Control Module, in order to support its release for production.
Main tasks:
• Analysis of the already available requirement specifications for ECM and sharing of electronic requirements for Euro VI step E application.

• Review of the project contents and support for Functional and vehicular safety analysis
• Execution of the vehicle integration test about Engine dependent vehicle functions on the major Software releases.

• Support to Vehicle Validation for Driveability and Performance validation on the testing vehicles.
• Support to Vehicle Validation to monitor the testing fleets and perform the related problem solving.

• Collection of the documentation for the final releases of engine Software, Dataset and Ecusets.

Profile

The ideal candidate has a Degree in electronics, Automotive Engineering or Mechanical Engineering disciplines, good technical knowledge of the E/E architecture of trucks or passenger cars, good technical knowledge of Vehicle Dynamics principles and advanced driving functions, good technical knowledge of Vehicle Networks (CAN, LIN) and experience in the use of Vector Tools. Good knowledge of Italian of English languages.

Willing to travel in Italy and abroad.

 

Requirements

• good knowledge in development of functions related to powertrain and Vehicle Dynamics 

• good knowledge of the E/E architecture of trucks or passenger cars

• Knowladge of ISO 26262/Functional Safety process
