Description of the job

You are a full time student, looking for a working student position and you would like to support the Plant Engineering team? Then apply now! We look forward to you joining us at the Continuous Product Development for 20 hours/week (flexi-time).

Location: Hamburg
Start: October 2019
Duration: 8 months

Plant Engineering in Hamburg is responsible for the development support of all fuselage sections built in Hamburg. In addition to the daily support of the production facilities, we ensure continuous improvement of production through efficiency projects. All improvement projects run using a unique database called Activity Tracker based on i-share. With the implementation of Google Suite later this year, this tool has to also either be developed in the frame of the global successor of the Activity Tracker in Google Suite environment or open enough to be simply and seamless connected to this successor. Your first task will be an implementation of a follow up tool for the summary of all Change Requests for all program where Plant Engineering is affected. Furthermore, you will help to support the entire improvement community in generating the templates needed by the change process.

Required skills

You offer:
- Enrolled full time student within Informatics, Aerospace/Industrial Engineering or similar field of study
- Basic knowledge/interest in Aeronautics helpfull
- English: fluent
- German: fluent

You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
