Description of the job

Two vacancies for Working Party Team Leaders (m/f) have arisen within Airbus in Toulouse.

The Working Party Team Leader is in charge of performing a working party (technical changes and or repair) on a delivered aircraft through managing a team of people sent by AIB to a customer site.
He is responsible to establish Working Party file and issue certificate of release for the work package performed, in accordance EASA/FAR Part 145 rules and Airbus procedures.
He can act as Repair Manager in case of major repair, from assessment to release, and will remain accountable for the repair embodiment process. As such, he manages operationally and functionally all disciplines on-site (spares rep, engineering rep, preparators, sub-contractors and workers / Inspectors).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
¤ To manage a team of different nationalities/cultures on site, far from Airbus structure.
¤ To monitor on site activities of people from different skills and origins (Engineering, Spare representatives, Manufacturing)
¤ Availability/flexibility to travel short/long term.
¤ To keep WP expenses within estimated/agreed budget.
¤ To complete the WP according to contractual agreed schedule.
¤ To comply with EASA Part 145 airworthiness regulation.
¤ To comply with specific/last minute customer request, to negotiate additional and differed items with customers.
¤ To perform necessary training and qualification process to cope with new aircraft types and Airworthiness authorities new regulations.

This role will involve extensive travel for business worldwide and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Qualified with EASA Part 66 license "B1" and/or "B2"
·  Maintenance experience for C and B1 and/or B2
·  Solid experience on large structure repair (Composite would be a plus)
·  Systems qualification
·  Proven ability/experience in management of working parties including preparation and planning
·  Interested and experienced in working with extensive and highly integrated Electronic Data Processing systems.
·  Adaptable
·  Excellent communication skills
·  Ability to take initiatives and decisions
·  Leadership and ability to coordinate people
·  Language Skills: Negotiation level of English. French / German / Spanish would be a plus.
