Description of the job

A vacancy for a Web Factory Quality and Test Engineer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Toulouse.
The successful applicant will join the MidStream Operational Centre – Web Development department.
To enhance the operational efficiency of online services (Access services) of Airbus DS Intelligence (programming, acquisition, production and delivery of radar and optical satellite images), an Agile development cell has been put in place in order to develop a line of reusable products, an environment using Cloud (Google) and a scrum agile method. The objectives are to improve the deliveries in terms of speed, quality and cost (by reusing) and matching the needs of the business. These web developments mainly concern front-ends (web applications, mobiles, public API) using back-ends developed in addition; these front-ends are related to both external (clients) and internal audiences. They will participate in the extension of the digitalisation of the company.

Tasks & accountabilities

Within this Agile development cell, several "T-shaped" profiles are identified: good knowledge and skills in various web development disciplines, and more in-depth knowledge in a given discipline.
For this vacancy, skills in Tests and Quality are required, in particular test automation.
You will join the development team, in particular you will be in charge of defining and maintaining the test strategy in the Continuous integration chain, which includes: - Participating in the implementation of Agile (Scrum) development methods, - Implementing an overall strategy for tests within Web Factory (automation of unit and end-to-end tests, with Selenium for example), - Defining tests in collaboration with the functional teams and developers, - Defining unit tests and initialisation guidelines for future projects, - Implementing metrics (automatic) for code quality, and processes for peer review, - Participating in the choice and development of tools (build, tracker, tests, deployment), - Carrying out a technology watch to follow the evolution of state of the art Tests, and within the context of development: - Creating product functionalities and updating detailed specifications.

Required skills

As the successful candidate, you should be able to demonstrate some of the following skills and experience:

·  5-year degree from an Information Technology school or University
·  1 to 5 years experience in the Computing field, specialising in Information Technology,
·  Good team spirit, interpersonal skills, good communicator, training skills, inquisitive, creative and open,
·  Very good knowledge of: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular, NodeJS, architecture micro-services, API REST,
·  Experience using Agiles (Scrum) method and DevOps in a professional environment,
·  Automation of the deployment of applications in containers (Docker type),
·  English: intermediate to an advanced level

Would be a plus:

·  Experience in Google Cloud Platform, in particular AppEngine
·  OpenLayers 3, Cesium, or mapping customer equivalent,
·  Knowledge of a function relative to observation of the earth by satellites,
·  Experience in developing a line of software products.
·  Technical environment: Gitlab, Gitlab CI, Jenkins, Selenium, JMeter, JIRA (et Confluence, Hipchat, Bitbucket, Bamboo), Git, Nexus, Artifactory
