VIE - NETWORKED PRODUCTS MARKETING MANAGER

Job description

Tasks & accountabilities:
- Work with the existing Produt managers to understand the Product/service information, background, market intelligence, company process structure
- Drive standardisation and improvement of Product Management materials within the Networked Products team to include;
o Brochures
o Datasheets
o Video / animation
o Pricing material
o Business cases
o Launch plans
o Development schedules
- Track and control Product Process Adherence
o Ensure that Product Gate Materials are ready for review assisting production as required
o Transform materials to standard template formats
o Support Product Managers at Gate Reviews
o Drive improvements in Product Process where deficiencies are found
- Participate in the wider Product Management activities including promotion of the group and it's product within Airbus and to customer events
o Support product demonstrations
o Present product materials either internally or externally
- Drive areas of convergence across the product areas
- Potential to personally drive aspects of management of a product e.g. Lead a launch campaign for one of the products.
- Potential to take over direct management of existing or new products as the opportunity arises.
Required skills:
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills/attributes/knowledge:
- At minimum, a 2:1 degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications/Network Technology or related subject.
- Experience of Product Management / Marketing / Development is preferred.
- Understanding of the Military / Government secure communications / IT market and requirements is advantageous.
- Must be able to confidently communicate with stakeholders from all levels.
- Must be proactive and self-motivated.
- Good organisational skills.
- Interest in continuous improvement.
- Interest in products, technology and their applications.
- Experience of working in diverse international teams is advantageous.
- Fluent English – other languages are advantageous.
