Airbus is looking for a Business Operations Manager (f/m), for a 24 month's contract starting from January 1st, 2019 at the earliest, to support the development and ramp-up of the Airbus Jakarta Training Centre (AJTC) in cooperation with Lion Air Group.
You will manage a team of 6 Indonesian employees in charge of the Customer Pilot Training Operations. You will report directly to the General Manager of the Airbus Jakarta Training Centre.

Your missions and activities will include:
1. Management of Customer Training Operations:
¤ Managing the planning and scheduling of Flight courses; Note: planning activity covers the mid
- and long-term (12 to 60 months) assignment of sessions that can be conducted based on the training centre relevant capacity;
¤ Scheduling every courses booked by any customers in line with Airbus scheduling rules;
¤ Ensuring all training requests are properly scheduled and customer requests fulfilled;
¤ Assigning instructors using the right qualification and ensuring all scheduling rules are properly followed.
¤ Providing updated course programs for trainees and instructors;
¤ Reporting any issue on the forecasted activity;
¤ Maintaining the scheduling database as effective and up-to-date;
¤ Organize regularly Customer meeting to review all pending customer training requests & to take appropriate actions;
2. Business Controlling:
¤ Through regular Customer Meeting (mainly Lion Air, Batik Air, Wings Air) the jobholder is responsible for providing short
- term,
medium term and long term training forecasts as well as the level of incomes to be achieved as an objective.
¤ Act in monitoring results, deviations to targets.
¤ Act as a focal point to prepare monthly reporting and KPI
¤ Ensure an effective use of resources
This role could involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.
You have the following skills and experience:
¤ Educated to a 5 year's degree (or equivalent) in a Business School or Engineering school with a business degree / experience in business
¤ Marketing/Sales/Management experience
¤ Project Management experience
¤ Airline Operations experience would be highly appreciated
¤ Initial experience abroad would be an advantage
¤ Knowledge in terms of quality management and compliance monitoring would be a plus.
¤ Soft skill: leadership and communication skills, entrepreneurial spirit and problem solving mindset, assertiveness, ready to live in a tough mega-city.
¤ Negotiation level of English
