As part of a school curriculum in initial training , you are looking for a mandatory internship or integrated into a gap year that will allow you to validate your studies. The internship duration is 6 months.

You will join the Procurement of Equipment/Systems supply chain & quality department.

The department is accountable for:

·  Supply and ordering activities for Airbus Operations subsidiaries in France, Germany, UK and Spain for all Airbus programs
·  Prepare the industrial challenge as Ramp up, ramp down, flexibility
·  is closely working with the other procurement teams on performance

Starting in January 2018, the department has been regrouping all Ordering Officer and plant Interphases activities under a single Team. By this transformation we launched some workshops to collect and gather the opportunity of improvement. 4 mains stream have been selected and the End to End (E2E) Demand and Supply Project has been launched.

The internship consists in supporting the work stream focussing on the Demand issue and improvement (WSO4).

Tasks & accountabilities

In the frame work of WS04, the intern will join Procurement of Equipment/Systems supply chain & quality department and continue to develop and implement the Advance Notice of Planning Change (ANPC):

·  Understand the ANPC aims in regards of the Airbus planning structure
·  Understand the concept of the solution under development:
·  Analyse all materials developed and mock ups    
·  Define a plan to complete the development
·  Propose alternative solution if necessary

Communication:

·  Define a pragmatic way to communicate the change to SO/ supplier.
·  Define the workflow validated with the SO community.
·  Create a pragmatic database to support this workflow.

Required skills

You’re preparing a degree from level bac + 3 to an engineering master level, with a strong focus on Industrial Operations and Manufacturing/Supply Chain.

You have more specific skills for:

·  Planning
·  Procurement
·  MRP II concept

Your Mission, if you accept it, will ask you to be:

·  Team spirited.

Finally, knowledge of project management would be a plus.
