Description of the job

A vacancy for a Supply Chain Quality Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Toulouse. You will join the “Supply Chain Quality” (TOPQS) department.

In the scope of the Airbus DS Supply Quality organization, you will lead the Supply Quality activities in the UAS business. You will be accountable for all quality aspects within the supply chain, in close relation with the SOM and the SDM.

These positions will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main activities will include:

·  Evaluating/assessing/auditing suppliers and WP risks and implementing mitigation actions with suppliers
·  Contributing to suppliers selection and approval process
·  Negotiating, validating and checking the application of the quality plan with suppliers
·  Ensuring that quality requirements are taken into account by suppliers and flown down to all sub-tier contractors in line with AIRBUS DS requirements.
·  Defining the Quality Surveillance Plans (incl. the Advanced Product Quality Plan) and leading Supplier Quality Improvement Plan when necessary and proposing optimizations as well as development missions when possible.
·  Managing and handling non-qualities, ensuring systematic root cause analysis, proper second and third closure, in coordination with the Suppliers Operations Managers.
·  Running SNCR review boards to ensure there is a regular planned approach towards SNCR management and not just fire-fighting. From these reviews, identifying and proposing opportunities which could help to reduce the Cost of Non -Quality
·  Supporting business as a contributor and representative of the Supply Chain during external certification audits
·  Leading these activities in close cooperation with other members of the procurement multi-functional teams as well as the UAS business line stakeholders

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Experience in audit, as lead auditor, in a quality and production environment
·  Knowledge of electronics would be a plus
·  Knowledge of quality standards: EN9100
·  IPCA+ certification would be a plus
·  Team spirit, autonomy, negotiation skills, communication skills
·  English: negotiation level
·  French: advanced level
