Description of the job

A vacancy for a Supply Chain Manager (m/w) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Elancourt. You will join the “EEE Strategy & Supply” (TSOEF53) department.

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Tasks & accountabilities

You will be responsible for the local supply chain management (overall responsibility from demand to release in stock for use) for dedicated suppliers of HiRel EEE parts and/or PCBs in France:

·  Preparing procurement costing for EEE components and/or PCBs
·  Overall responsibility of all operational procurement aspects for EEE components and/or PCBs for dedicated suppliers
·  Supporting Commodity Management to secure relations with strategic and key suppliers
·  Supplier negotiations including all contractual matters, if not covered by frame contracts, secure savings for the specific and local procurement for dedicated suppliers
·  Issuing the Purchase Orders, monitoring operationally the suppliers during the production cycle time, implementing recovery plans, if necessary, managing the deliveries and acceptance of incoming inspection for dedicated suppliers
·  Assessing and improving in line Supplier's performance (technical, quality, costs, schedule adherence) for dedicated suppliers
·  Filling in the ERP/MRP databases with all necessary information about purchased products & services for dedicated suppliers
·  Ensuring fulfilment of export control regulations, such as ITAR for dedicated suppliers

You will also be responsible for the following activities:

·  Responsible for some dedicated supplier contracts of non-transnational nature
·  Supporting the Commodity Managers for strategy definition and contract negotiations
·  Supporting/contributing to dedicated suppliers evaluation and development
·  Proactively supporting definition and implementation of improvements to optimize processes and increase efficiency of procurement operations

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Engineering degree (or equivalent) ideally specializing in electronics or in Supply Chain Management/Procurement
·  At least 2 years of experience in Electronics, Supply Chain and Purchasing
·  Experience in the space industry would be highly appreciated
·  Knowledge of SAP, ideally on the Purchasing module
·  Meticulousness, technical curiosity and team spirit
·  French: advanced level
·  English: advanced level
