Description of the job

An internship in Strategy and Intelligence (m/f) has just opened at Airbus' Blagnac site.
The aerospace sector is a highly dynamic and innovative field and bears huge potential in the application of new business models, new technologies, new ways of working, and the use of digital innovation.
An all-new generation of air vehicles with vertical take-off and landing capability will be required that have a very low environmental footprint and are highly cost-efficient. Those are expected to operate on new business models to fundamentally change the way we travel.
In that spirit the Strategy Department is searching for the next breakthroughs that could emerge. The objective of the proposed internship will be to analyse potential fields of business, assess the feasibility of Airbus taking a role in this, and define strategies to address those successfully.
This internship is scheduled to start in September 2018 (date subject to a certain flexibility) for a period of 6 months

Tasks & accountabilities

The main focus will be on innovative business models and how to test/implement them.
To do this, you will work with multiple functions within the group ranging from engineering to finance depending on the subject and you will carry out market research, develop business plans.

Required skills

¤ You are currently studying at a business school or equivalent (Bac+5) or gap year
¤ You have strong analytical skills and a basic understanding of the aerospace industry.
¤ You are passionate about new technologies and bring an entrepreneurial spirit.
¤ You are rigorous, autonomous and team-oriented
¤ Advanced level in English and intermediate level in French.
