This 12-month placement will provide you with software development skills and experience in the domain of Microsoft Windows Services & Application development coupled with SQL Server databases.
You will be assigned to one of our exciting software products to develop and enhance utilising the latest technologies and techniques.
This is a full-stack developer opportunity so as a full member of the Agile Scrum team you will be responsible for a range of software development activities including software requirements analysis, code design and production along with software testing the new updates and complete system.
The placement includes an induction and a training period, to provide you with a solid background in software development practices used here at Airbus and general knowledge for the specific space domain. You will continue to build your technical (E.g. C#/Java and database servers within Windows and Unix Clients and Servers) and business skills during specific on-the-job skill building activities.

Tasks & accountabilities

·  Design, development and testing of the software products in an Agile Scrum environment
·  Manage requirements and interact with business users and Software Product Owners
·  Integrate into the software development teams as a full-stack developer utilising the latest Microsoft technologies within a global company

Required skills

Relevant degree disciplines:

·  Software Development/Engineering or Computer Science degree with strong emphasis on business applications
·  Engineering, Physics or Mathematics with strong emphasis on software development

Technical / IT / Behavioural / Language skills required:

·  Experience in C# .NET and/or Java and database technologies like SQL Server or MongoDB
·  Windows OS knowledge
·  Pro-active and creative
·  Enjoys working as part of a team as well as showing initiative to be creative unsupervised
