Description of the job

Would you like to be part of a highly technical and A/C Operations minded team?
Do you want to integrate a dynamic domain which is leading and contributing to ambitious transversal projects to provide digital solutions and platforms allowing:

·  Airbus optimization of embedded avionics and development of services,
·  Airlines optimization of maintenance and Flight operations.

The mission of the Data Shared Resources Department is to architect, deliver and support end-to-end optimized avionics and communication solutions hosting secured avionics operations and services.

In this context, your mission will be to ensure optimized & robust integrated system with focus on performance, shared resources consumption, interferences between systems, transverse view and supportability. Through this role, you will be given the chance to act in an area offering significant opportunities of innovation thanks to its exposure with the current fast evolving IT environment (portable devices, ground systems, connectivity).

Tasks & accountabilities

The principle responsibilities of the role can be summarized as follows:

I/ Specification & Development phase:

·  Manage and define shared resources distribution.
·  Define batching configuration for Technical Integration test campaigns.
·  Generate configuration loads (Integrator load containing shared resources distribution).
·  Perform complex multi-systems expertise during architecture and development.
·  Provide support to workpackage leader in all phases of the V cycle and foster team spirit with all stakeholders.

II/ Verification phase:

·  Integration strategy and roadmap; Update and initiate Integration Tests Requests; Perform complex analysis; Support to WPL.

III/ Certification Phase

·  Contribution to the V&V summary with the non-interference dossier for instance.

IV/ Customer support

·  Support and perform complex multi-systems expertise on technical issues during systems tests, in-service operations.

V/ R&T:

·  Prepare the Future: new shared resources architecture, new approach of integration, improve supportability & maintainability.

VI/ Methods and Tools:

·  Maintain knowledge of tools usage & methodology; Propose and potentially develop models or tools.

Required skills

Your Boarding Pass

·  Degree in IT / Aeronautical Engineering / Network and Telecommunications.
·  Strong IT background with experience in Software Integration / Software architecture.
·  Knowledge of Avionics Systems; Flight Operations would be a strong asset.
·  Some experience Programming in Java / Scripting in Python.
·  Knowledge in Data Mining would be a plus.
·  Knowledge in Network would be a plus.
·  Good team player with strong communication skills.
·  Curiosity, Autonomy and Solution driven mindset.
·  Advanced level in English; intermediate level of French is required.
