A vacancy for a Simulation Engineer is open within Airbus in Toulouse.

Take control of the aircraft and of your career by joining the Modelling and Simulation team in Systems Engineering!

Within this position, you will work on several critical systems such as Flight Controls, Autopilot, Landing Gear, Navigation system and Engines, and thus develop multi-system competencies. You will also acquire a global picture of Design Office, Flight Tests and Training activities on all programs inside AIRBUS.

Profil recherché

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Defining the evolutions and modifications perimeter of the Bench simulation platform to meet the Flight Test needs defined by Test Center (EV),
·  Developing the relevant Bench Simulation configurations,
·  Validating the evolutions (new functionalities and bug fixes),
·  Delivering to the customer,
·  Supporting Design Office and EV for bench's use,
·  Driving sub-contracting activities in accordance with the Make of Buy strategy,
·  Developing and maintaining knowledge on Flight Dynamics and Multi-Systems aspects.
·  Proposing innovative solutions in order to improve our product policy

This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Degree in General Engineering / aeronautical engineering (or equivalent)
·  Experience in Simulation
·  Software knowledge (Linus, C, MATLAB & Simulink) but no coding within this position
·  A first experience in Multi-systems Integration and Validation would be a plus
·  Team Spirit

·  Ability to take initiatives and to be proactive
·  Analytical skills
·  An advanced level of English is required.
·  An intermediate level of French would be a plus.
