Description of the job

A vacancy for a Sales Manager (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Toulouse. The successful candidate will join a team of 14 members within the TOMSE1 department in Toulouse.
The jobholder will be in charge of the marketing of test means of the Elancourt and Toulouse test centres.

This position will require security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognised authorities.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  To ensure prospection and management of his/her business in the field space Equipment testing, space test engineering and non-space testing
·  To ensure follow-up its Customer base
·  To develop and implement an accurate prospection plan on his territory
·  To identify customers/prospects needs to propose added value solution
·  To develop and sustain its Customer base on his territory
·  To establish and implement a commercial action plan
·  To provide sales reporting and Dashboard
·  To participate to commercial contract negotiation
·  To perform and follow-up specific marketing studies

This role will involve frequent travels for business and as such, you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

As the successful candidate, you should be able to demonstrate some of the following skills and experience:
Degree from an engineering school, (preferably) specialising in Business or with Business experience
Experience in sales/marketing
Knowledge in environmental testing would be a plus (aerospace defence)
Experience in commercial negotiation and contractual negotiation
Ability to draft an offer with a strong added value
Knowledge of the various activity areas of the company would be a plus
High awareness of customer relations and satisfaction
Customer-oriented

A negotiation level of French and an advanced level of English.
