Description of the job

A vacancy for a Product Owner (m/f) has arisen within Airbus (Commercial Aircraft) in Toulouse. You will join the Functional Design Solutions department whose mission is to manage the activities and technical expertise in terms of information system organisation, architecture definition as well as Product and project management in order to support the Functional Design Engineering Products development.
As Product Owner you will manage trans-national Information System Products and projects with related activities (plan, budget, resources, services, etc.) in order that our internal customers reach their technical, financial and budget targets for their products development.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include: design, develop, integrate, deploy and maintain IS Products. This includes:

·  Analyse, challenge and prioritize Business requirements,
·  Define & design the technical solution & architecture, easy to adapt and operate, customer oriented,
·  Evaluate the best technologies with respect to the IS recommendations,
·  Organize the developments (schedule, budget, risk management, actions follow-up, resources management, etc.),
·  Coordinate the project actors (method & tools representatives, users, project team, procurement, finance, IT people, etc.),
·  Coordinate sub-contracted activities,
·  Prepare and anticipate hardware & IT means for deployment,
·  Organize & manage application acceptance,
·  Ensure Entry Into Service with IT team,
·  Deploy the IS quality referential on project (GPP incl. Agile methodologies),
·  Provide all information needed for AOP arbitration,
·  Support run mode activities,
·  Be the primary IS interface with Business representative for an end-to-end accountability on all IS services provided related to products/projects.

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Excellent project management and change management skills
·  Excellent communication skills and ability to convince
·  Good understanding of the business needs, good management of customer expectations, Business-oriented
·  Knowledge of software development
·  Knowledge of the Engineering processes
·  Team management experience is of high advantage
·  You are a team player and you have a high customer focus, as you are able to translate needs in IS Products.
·  English: Advanced, since you are going to work on transnational Products/projects.
·  French: Negotiation
