Description of the job

A vacancy for a Procurement Operations Controller (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Commercial based in Blagnac. The successful applicant will join the Procurement Operations Controlling team located across the plant and FAL organisation is responsible for all ordering & conformance management activity linked to Airframe.

Part of the procurement organisation, Procurement Operations are accountable for:

·  Global supplier performance ensuring on time and on quality delivery to meet Plants/FALs/Programmes requirements.
·  Pro-actively leading supply chain management & development to anticipate & resolve structural supplier issues and secure the supply chain delivery targets for the production ramp-up ahead.

You will act as the business partner, and member of the team and work closely with Operations to support the achievement of their financial objectives, whilst maintaining the operational performance of the function.

Our department provides a full suite of financial controlling support - planning, reporting, risk and opportunities management, forecasting in costs and resources. As a full business partner you will also challenge and support the business in terms of financial and operational performance improvement.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

·  Providing financial visibility on Function costs and Resources,
·  Securing all Finance aspects in terms of Actuals, Budget, Forecast and Reporting,
·  Acting as a business partner, supporting and advising Procurement Operations Management within the plants on achieving Targets by driving improvement measures and mitigation actions,
·  Working in a trans-national network of Buy Controllers (~ 1 per Plant) in relation to Supply Chain community function costs and resources,
·  Working with programme controlling organisations to secure funding for non-recurring activities within the POD perimeter,

Your main tasks will include:

·  Setting up and deploy POD financial monthly reporting: Headcount, Function Costs (incl. Travel and Subcontracting) and associated processes involving stakeholders,
·  Contributing to the rolling AOP, Forecast and Reporting process for PO,
·  Delivering PODx Shared Target Letters (Supply Chain communities),
·  Identifying key drivers for Resource management,
·  Identifying & supporting efficiency improvement opportunities,
·  Supporting PO resourcing initiatives including Subcontracting bundling & PO synergies,
·  Controlling/monitoring level of procured good stock and supporting the convergence to target.

This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to a 5 years' degree level (or equivalent) in Finance or Controlling or a related discipline,
·  Experience of Finance Controlling,
·  Working Knowledge of SAP & IFRP,
·  Working Knowledge of OFFICE (specifically Excel & Powerpoint),
·  Demonstrated confidence working with large volume of data, a sense of synthesis,
·  Able to communicate and build relationship with a large number of stakeholders,
·  Able to pay attention to details and be accurate and yet see the big picture and understand the key messages,
·  Language skills : Negotiation level of English.
