Description of the job

In the context of the development of orchestration solutions for stationary and mobile 5G hybrid networks, Airbus Defence and
Space is looking for a Module Development Manager (m/f) for an orchestration project for mobile networks.
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognised authorities.

Tasks & accountabilities

You will join a software development team and your activities will include:

·  Taking part in the elaboration of the design and architecture of the software in consistency with the other software modules

implemented in the orchestration solution of mobile networks

·  Defining the detailed specifications of the software and test specifications
·  Developing the software and validating it
·  Participating in the validation of the solution in its end-to-end system environment
·  Taking into account feedback from the field and users
·  Suggesting improvements

This role will involve a few travels for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly

Required skills

As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate some of the following skills and experience:

·  Engineer training or equivalent, specialising in networks/telecommunication and/or IT
·  Knowledge of the message diameters of the 4G interfaces as defined with the 3GPP standard
·  Good knowledge of programming languages (C, C++, Python, Java, Erlang, etc.)
·  Basic knowledge of IP networks
·  SQL databases
·  Independent way of thinking
·  Intermediate level of English and negotiation level of French.
