We look forward to you joining us as support to the Optical Instruments Alignment Test & Lab in Ottobrunn at the earliest possible starting date (10 to 20 hours/week, flexi-time)

Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies.

This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.

This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises.

A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

Your exiting tasks

· 
As working student you will support the department in the day-to-day mechanical design and engineering work for optical and thermal-vacuum tests in the optics laboratory

· 
Design of mechanical ground support equipment for optical and thermal-vacuum test campaigns

·  Support in the day-to-day work in the optics laboratory
·  Support in assembly and integration of test setups

You offer:

·  Enrolled full time student within mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or similar field of study
·  Knowledge of Software skills (programming languages) CATIA, Microsoft Office and technical skills
·  Dynamic, proactive, engaging personality, organized with focus on delivery
·  Experience in an international and multicultural environment
·  English Fluent, German fluent
·  You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
