Job Description

An opportunity for an Airbus Marketing internship has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse.

You will join the Marketing Department. Join a creative, multicultural environment reflecting our dynamic markets and customers.

Airbus Marketers have a deep understanding of our markets and products. They are close to and interact with our customers around the world on a wide range of specialist and generic topics that contribute to aircraft sales. Behind every aircraft deal, there is a team of marketers who have worked to understand the market, build the right aircraft solutions and develop campaign approaches.

This is a team of people who work relentlessly in a very competitive environment to positioning Airbus products as winners and value generators for our customers. Our understanding of evolving market requirements helps shape our future aircraft developments to keep Airbus at the leading edge of aviation.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will consist in analysing databases on a wide range of matters (orders, deliveries, airlines network, etc.).

The focus of the internship is on non-quality detection; the non-quality is currently preventing from taking full advantage of the data.

Demonstrating we can improve data quality is then very important.

You will have to find errors, outliers, etc. You will then propose automated detection methods and resolution procedures.

The mission will start with very simple verification but the objective is to implement very advanced methods.

Simple tasks are for example the detection of duplicates on airline, aircraft, and engines or inconsistencies in aircraft life cycle.

Advanced task will be the detection of fake flights in airlines network based on network theory, or the use of NLP to find information in documents and compare it to database content.

The objective is to develop a demonstrator, to validate the concept, and to integrate the selected solution in a real environment. The position requires interacting with various populations (developers, marketing people, data providers, data scientist, experts, etc.).
