Description of the job

A vacancy for a Material Service Manager (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join „TASMC2 - EF Material Availability”.

Tasks & accountabilities

In Eurofighter Material Availability (TASMC2) there is a vacancy as Material Services Manager (MSM) for Eurofighter C#3 GAF. MSM represents customer interests towards EF Supply Chain. The main tasks of the Material Service Manager are as follows.

·  Commercial and logistical management of customer requirements in terms of time, cost, quality, etc.
·  Fulfillment of customer material requirements in the C#3 contract through company-internal clarifications, transmission of GAF requirements to EF Supply Chain, and monitoring of the open order book.
·  Pro-active input for extraordinary measures to avoid or reduce missing parts
·  Initiation and implementation of cross-departmental process improvement measures to avoid supply bottlenecks
·  Tracking of problem cases to be resolved internally with program management, Quality Department and Engineering
·  Permanent monitoring of the performance measurement parameters defined by EF/customers at the interface to procurement and initiation of corrective measures
·  Cooperation with consortium partners

Required skills

You have the following knowledge and qualifications:

·  Completed studies (logistics, supply chain) or comparable
·  First experiences in the field of sales / marketing / purchasing / supply chain
·  EF knowledge is an advantage
·  IT knowledge: MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access), SAP, ELMASS
·  Fluent in German and English
