Tasks & accountabilities

APSYS is looking for two Material and Processes engineers; in connection with the laboratory teams, to perform investigations of damaged parts in the frame of incident or accident.

Your mission and responsibilities will include:

·  Perform investigation on specimens by using laboratory tools
·  Writing tests and analysis reports
·  Comprehension and identification of failure, M&P deviation/improvement in connection with specialists/experts based on investigation conclusions
·  Contribute if necessary, to qualification of new technologies and supplier processes, to survey raw material suppliers, and to realize audits
·  Project follow-up by tasks scheduling and subcontracted activities coordination
·  Ensure proper communication (sensible information, Airbus confidential)

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills:

·  You hold an engineering degree or comparable –PhD diploma specialized in materials and / or aerospace
·  Technologist you are attracted by laboratory investigations on metallic materials
·  You have a first experience in a similar position (at least laboratory experience), an ability to manipulate/prepare specimens & use of investigation tools (hardness, polishing, micrography, SEM…)
·  Knowledge of steels, aluminum, thermal & surface treatments, assemblies, machining…
·  You ideally justify a first experience in project management and coordination
·  Curious, pro-active, rigorous, you know how to work in a multidisciplinary team, and have a good analytical mind with ability to write comprehensive scientific reports
·  French / English: fluent / negotiation level. German would be a plus.
·  Professional experience (3+ years)
