The Airbus A320 family Wing Engineering team provide engineering solutions for a family of aircraft that are at different stages of product lifecycle. The team manage and perform research, development, design and structural analysis for aircraft - In service, In production, In development and into the future. This encompasses aircraft that 1st entered into service in 1988 through to future products intended for Entry into service in 2025.

Tasks and Accountabilities:

During this internship, the activities you may undertake will include;

·  Work with one of our team leaders on design, stress and F&DT - perform Data Collection, basic stress and F&DT calculations and design tasks
·  Work as part of transnational team
·  Task and Project management
·  Creating reports and presentations

You will also perform tasks and be part of the Airbus Digitisation programme (DDMS - Digital Design Manufacturing and services)

Our Internships are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement.

You can demonstrate the following;

You will be an undergraduate for the full duration of the placement studying towards a degree in one of the following:

·  Aerospace Engineering
·  Aeronautical Engineering
·  Mechanical Engineering
·  Structural Engineering
·  Structural Analysis
·  CAD Drawing tools: Auto Cad, Catia
·  A Computer science qualification or experience of programming in data visualization with coding tools such as C#, C, C++,JAVA and Python and working with databases using SQL servers and connecting strings.
·  Enthusiasm for Engineering
·  Evidence of teamwork
·  Project management experience preferred
