Description of the job

A vacancy for a engineer specialized in digital solutions for planning, scheduling & logistics (m/f) has arisen within Airbus in Nantes.
Currently Logistics at Airbus is changing drastically and Digitalisation is seen as a key enabler to support this transformation. If you want to be part of this great change and join a dynamic, innovative domain, this position is for you.

You will join Plan & distribute Department, which is facing fantastic challenges & opportunities to structure our future
Logistics.

The Plan & Distribute department of the Nantes plant is responsible for:

·  Provide business and tool support to the plan & distribute community (planners, production coordinators, logisticians and warehouse operators)

·  Provide planification & logistics expertise in relay from the Airbus central experts

·  Optimize and bring innovation to our businesses, processes and logistics solutions

You will have the following skills and / or experience:
¤ Educated to Master degree level or equivalent ideally in Logistics or a related discipline.
¤ Experienced in digitization projects
¤ Project Management
¤ Good understanding of the workshop constraints and needs
¤ Customer oriented and ability to synthesize
¤ Good communication
¤ Team work/team spirit
¤ Rigor, autonomy
¤ curious (inquiring)
¤ Language Skills: advanced level of English and Negotiation of French.

Tasks & accountabilities

You will lead to the definition and the deployment of digital solution for the plan & distribute community allowing the production units to achieve the rates rise in best conditions at the lower cost.

More specifically but not exhaustively your missions will be the following ones:

-structure the management of the project portfolio (customer needs, development planning and deployment, communication)

-participate in the development of simple tools for the business or the mock-up of tools to be developed by our partners

-to ensure the coherence of the deployments of Corporate solutions and local ones in coordination with IT, methods and architects Airbus Manufacturing Digit.

-coordinate the progress of projects and communicate regularly to customers

·  ensure the maintenance and operational support of the digital applications deployed, especially when requests for changes

-contribute to the digital transformation of the plant as representative of the plan & distribute community
-being on permanent to offer innovative solutions to the community (benchmark, network ...)
