Description of the job

A LINUX / UNIX Cloud technology Architect position has arisen in Airbus Helicopters in Marignane.

You will join the information management department.
Within the "Operations / Hosting Services / UNIX and DATA" Team of Information Management Department, you will participate to the definition of technical solutions, tools, rules and processes for improving the architecture of LINUX and UNIX environments and preparing the digital roadmap of Airbus Helicopters and the move to Cloud (private and public).

You will have to collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Project Managers, Service Delivery Managers and LINUX/UNIX Administrators (internal & subcontractors) to analyse the actual situation and define futures solutions for implementing a modern and secure standards for LINUX and UNIX systems.

You will follow the implementation and integration of the designed solutions and the deployment of applications and services into the new technical landscape until their entry into service.
In collaboration with Service Delivery Managers and LINUX/UNIX Administrators you will ensure the operations of all existing and future LINUX/UNIX platforms and of hosted services.

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Define and ensure the deployment of LINUX/UNIX standards with scope of Modernization, Modularization, Industrialization, Compliance & Security Hardening.
·  Integrate the capability of Cloud and Container solutions into future landscape of LINUX systems.
·  Identify obsolete systems in advance and Design, Plan and Implement replacement and/or migrations of those systems with latest technology.
·  Support and Improve the wide range of systems hosting applications of R&D Department.
·  Design and Improve the delivery process in order to always deploy servers fully compliant with Security rules.
·  Design and Deploy solutions to ensure the compliance with Security rules all along server lifecycle.
·  Ensure that Customers demands are properly managed and control their deliveries in accordance with commitments.
·  Ensure good level of Availability, Stability and Performance of all systems (legacy and new implementations).
·  Instigate actions to rectify poor performances.
·  Participate to Harmonization and Improvement of the access management for LINUX and UNIX systems.

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to a 5 years Degree in information technology or a related discipline.
·  Experience of minimum 3 years in an information system department.
·  Knowledge in Cloud, Lunix and UNIX mandatory.
·  Knowledge in service tools orchestration and in Docker container technology standard.

Language level: Advanced level of English and French.
