As part of a school curriculum in initial training , you are looking for a mandatory internship or integrated into a gap year , that will allow you to validate your studies. The internship duration is 4 to 6 months maximum.

We are looking for a Treasury / Capital Markets (m/f) intern who will be joining us at Airbus Blagnac in Wings Campus site.

This internship is to be filled from March, 2nd. The dates are subject to a certain flexibility

You will be joining the Treasury Reporting and Middle-Office Team. Treasury is the in-house bank of Airbus, being in charge of FX, commodity, interest rate risks hedging, asset management as well as corporate funding. Further, Treasury manages all matters related to cash, from forecast to investments in capital markets up to the execution of payments.

You will perform your internship in a truly international environment (Banks, Treasury Team and internal clients).

Tasks and Responsibilities :

You will be working under the supervision of your manager who will help you identify your professional objectives and support you in the development of your skills.

As the successful candidate, your main missions and activities will be in the following areas:

·  Daily control of different risk areas: credit exposure reports, risk position and credit limit consumption as well as operational risks linked to our capital market activities
·  Prepare regular Credit and Market Risk Report for the Treasury management and other stakeholders
·  Prepare analyses on financial markets, counterparties, and potential future counterparties
·  Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis and participate in projects
·  Work with the IT teams in maintaining and improving reporting and risk control functions in the Treasury Management System.
·  Ensure that all operating businesses have the appropriate risk mitigation processes and controls.
·  Ensure compliance with regulatory rules such as EMIR, Dodd-Frank Act etc. Monitor transaction reporting, including regular reconciliation of positions at trade repository and with the financial counterparts as well as static data control and maintenance
·  Deliver reports on all treasury matters

Required skills :

You are preparing a diploma level Bac+4, Bac+5, gap year in Finance (or equivalent) and you have the following skills:

·  You have a high level of interest in financial markets with knowledge of key drivers and developments in the corporate and banking world.
·  Basic knowledge of financial products such as FX derivatives and fixed income (bonds).
·  Basic knowledge of accounting (balance sheet, free cash flow and income statement)
·  Good knowledge of Excel is a plus, especially VBA skills.
·  Some experience with capital markets information systems (Bloomberg, Reuters) or Risk management systems (e.g. Riskmetrics) would be a plus
·  English: Advanced

Soft skills:

·  Detail orientation as daily tasks require handling complex information coming from multiple databases.

Depending on the specifics of the offer, you may have to travel to another locations.
