Description of the job

A vacancy for an Electrical Designer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join “Military Aircraft Engineering”.

Tasks & accountabilities

What can we offer?

·  Modelling and Simulation of electrical systems for various aircraft types
·  Contact to internal, external, national and international customers and partner companies in

Germany and abroad

·  Be involved in test campaigns for simulations, on-ground and in-flight
·  Electrical Components Selection and evaluation of new compounds for the aircrafts
·  Support activities of Production and Electrical Manufacturing Engineering
·  Being involved in Product & Flight Safety topics
·  Integrated Planning (Design - Manufacturing Engineering - Production)
·  Continuously developing new and existing programs
·  Working in a Multi- and Crossfunctional Team (Systems, Certification, Quality, Supply Chain,

Procurement - Commodity, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Electrical Shop, Standardization, Services Engineering)

·  Based on the inputs of the System Engineering you will Design the relevant drawings in various Electrical Tolls like Capital Harness System or Engineering Base.

Required skills

What are we looking for?

·  Are you educated to degree level in Electric Engineering?
·  Do you have Basic experience in Engineering?
·  You have Interest in aircraft engineering and aeronautic industry.
·  First experiences in Project Management.
·  Do you have good communication skills and the ability to convince others?
·  Are you willing to give and share your knowledge within a team and live a constructive and feedback oriented within the team and company?
·  Are you fluent in German and English?
