Description of the job

A vacancy for an IT Operations Specialist - 3DExperience (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse. You will join the Application hosting develop team within the Information Management (IM) department.

In the context of its manufacturing digitalization journey, Airbus has deployed 3DExperience One Platform which bundles design, simulation and production tools into a unique product lifecycle management (PLM) solution, contributing to the company's competitiveness and customers' satisfaction.

As an IT Operations Specialist, you will be a key partner to deliver and operate end-to-end solutions against business requirements and mapping them to the PLM processes. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the IM and Engineering teams in a transnational environment and on cross-programmes projects.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

o Leading teams internally and externally for the deployment of infrastructure required for applications installation,
o Ensuring the end-to-end operation of the application that enables all IT supported and integrated business processes of the domain in line with the agreed Hosting services and products,
o Maintaining overall customer satisfaction with products and/or services by performing customer intimacy in order to anticipate and to answer business needs, and ensure continuous improvement,
o Managing the Budget: reporting and forecasts on RC and NRC costs, participating to building next year's AOP,
o Managing escalations and crisis situations and keep the customer representatives, and the management chain informed.
o Ensuring / Performing / Improving the ITIL based support processes that include incident, problem, change, configuration, and event management.

This role will involve some travel for business in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

o Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in IT or engineering,
o Experience in IT operations and/or project management on 3DExperience PLM solution,
o Knowledge of major ITIL processes (e.g. incident, problem, change management) and the Airbus application landscape,
o Experience in Agile project management and/or certification in SAFe (Scrum Master / portfolio management / DevOps) is a plus,
o Very good communication skills, customer orientated, continuous improvement mindset,
o Demonstrated ability in leading teams and partnering with subcontractors,
o Strong sense of curiosity about people and new technologies,
o Negotiation level of English.
